Nothing shifts records like The X Factor, so judge Dannii Minogue repackages three of her 1990s albums in advance of a new record next year. The 1995 Sessions promises previously unreleased material — a hard sell given that many of us can’t recall the stuff she did release. But there is a nostalgic charm here in the kind of ballads you just don’t hear any more. Wish You’d Stop Wishing is part Lisa Stansfield, part Gloria Estefan. A cover of Harry Nilsson’s Coconut should have remained in the vaults.
