Sir, I was disappointed to read yet another cheap shot at believers in intelligent design (Comment, September 14). Anjana Ahuja says that this is the belief that the world was “magicked into being”, and casts doubt on its viability as a science. She seems to think she can belittle people’s beliefs by hiding behind a closed-minded evolutionist establishment.

Is it unreasonable for me to believe in God? Is it unreasonable for someone who believes in God to believe that He could make the Universe? I don’t expect the constant assault to stop, but I do expect you to allow a Creationist to reply.
