February 15: The Queen today received His Excellency the Rt Hon Donald McKinnon, Commonwealth Secretary-General.
Mr Justice Hart was received by Her Majesty upon his appointment as a Justice of the High Court when The Queen conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Bachelor.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception at St James’s Palace for the Magistrates’ Courts Committees and were received by the Lord Falconer of Thoroton (Lord Chancellor) and the Chairman of the Central Council of Magistrates’ Courts Committees (Dr Malcolm Cohen).
The Duke of Edinburgh, Royal Governor, this morning opened the new infirmary at Sutton’s Hospital in Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square, London EC1.

February 15: The Duke of York this morning departed Abu Dhabi International Airport for Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, and was received later on arrival by The Crown Prince of Sharjah.

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards visited Sharjah Institute of Technology.
