June 29: The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, today opened the Stubbs and the Horse Exhibition at the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, and was received by the Chairman of the Trustees (Mr Peter Scott) and the Director (Dr Charles Saumarez Smith).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness toured the Exhibition, escorted by the Curators, and afterwards attended a Reception for the Trustees and supporters.
