February 8: Her Excellency Mrs Ana Maria Teles Carreira was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Angola to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Mario Afonso D’Almeida was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr Richard Stagg (Director General, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

His Excellency Dr Vladimiro P. Villalta was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of El Salvador to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs de P. Villalta was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr Richard Stagg (Director General, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

The Very Reverend Dr Wesley Carr was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Dean of Westminster and delivered up to Her Majesty the Badge of Dean of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath when The Queen invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mrs Carr was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr John Heppell MP (Vice Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

February 8: The Prince of Wales this morning visited BAE Systems, Warton Aerodrome, Preston, to view the Typhoon aircraft production and assembly facility and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire (the Lord Shuttleworth).

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince of Wales Arts and Kids Foundation, this afternoon visited the In the Land of Illustrations Exhibition at 80 Victoria Street, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, World Jewish Relief’s Krakow Community Centre Project, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Reception at Clarence House in aid of World Jewish Relief.
