September 8: The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, this evening attended a Parade and Reception to mark the Three Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Grenadier Guards in Bruges and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium (His Excellency Mr Richard Kinchen).

By command of The Queen, Sir Anthony Figgis (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Amiran Kavadze at 4 Russell Gardens, London W14, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Georgia to the Court of St James’s.
By command of Her Majesty, Sir Anthony Figgis called upon His Excellency Mr Petros Eftychiou at 5 Cheyne Walk, London SW10, today in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.
