February 19: Today is the Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of York.
His Royal Highness this morning departed Abu Dhabi International Airport, the United Arab Emirates, for Saudi Arabia and was received later at Jeddah International Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (His Excellency Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles).
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon attended a Lunch with the British Business Group at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited the offices of BUPA in Jeddah.
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this evening attended a Reception for the Jeddah Economic Forum given by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Jeddah (Ms Carma Elliott) at the Hilton Hotel, Jeddah, and subsequently attended the opening ceremony of the Jeddah Economic Forum followed by a Dinner at the Hilton Hotel.
