September 9: The Duke of Gloucester this morning travelled by train to Bristol and afterwards attended a Celebratory Service in St Mary’s Church, Redcliffe, to mark the centenary of the birth of Sir John Betjeman and was received by Mr Barry England (Deputy Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol).
The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, today attended the Women’s Final of the United States Open at the United States Tennis Association Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows- Corona Park, New York, United States of America.
