The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Timothy Colman KG at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Marquess Townshend of Raynham which was held in Norwich Cathedral today.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Major Nicholas Barne.
By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs Mwanaidi Sinare Maajar at 3 Stratford Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation, today viewed the development progress at Coed Darcy Urban Village, Llandarcy, Neath, followed by a Reception, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr Byron Lewis).
The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Corgi Hosiery, New Road, Ammanford.
