His Royal Highness later departed Wellington International Airport for Australia and was received upon arrival at Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport, Sydney, by the Governor of New South Wales (Professor Marie Bashir).

Prince William of Wales this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (Ms. Quentin Bryce) at Admiralty House, Sydney.

His Royal Highness later visited the Redfern Community Centre, Sydney.

Prince William of Wales later called upon the Governor of New South Wales at Government House, Sydney.
