Nicholas Assheton (formerly Treasurer and Extra Equerry to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Captain Sir Alastair Aird (formerly Private Secretary, Comptroller and Equerry to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and Extra Equerry to The Queen) which was held in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London SW1, today.

Prince William of Wales this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (Ms. Quentin Bryce) at Admiralty House, Sydney.
His Royal Highness later visited the Redfern Community Centre, Sydney.
