The Duke of Edinburgh received the Foreign Minister from the State of Israel (Mr Silvan Shalom).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited the Joseph Weld Hospice, Dorchester.
The Prince of Wales this evening received The Romanian Ambassador, His Excellency Dan Ghibernea, Mrs Mona Musca, Minister of Culture and Religious Affairs, Mrs Sulfina Barbu, Minister of Environment and Water Management, Mr Laszlo Borberly, Minister Delegate for the Co-ordination for Public Works and Territory Management, Mr Virgil Nitelescu, State Secretary for patrimony at the Ministry of Culture, His Excellency Mrs Soknan Han Jung, Director of UNDP Romania and Mr Luke Douglas Home, Mihai Eminescu Trust.

February 16: The Duke of York this morning departed Dubai International Airport for Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates, and was received later on arrival at Fujairah Airport by Shaikh Saleh bin Mohammad Al Sharqi.

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards visited the Business Club, Fujairah Free Zone, and met participants in the British Standards Workshop.
The Duke of York was received by The Ruler of Fujairah (Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharqi) this afternoon at the Ruler’s Palace, Fujairah, and remained to Lunch.
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, later met members of the British community at the Business Club in Fujairah.
The Duke of York afterwards departed Fujairah for Al Ain, the United Arab Emirates, and this evening attended a Reception for the British Community in Al Ain.
