BUCKINGHAM PALACE
January 23: The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today carried out the following engagements in the United Arab Emirates.
His Royal Highness this morning visited British exhibitors at the World Trade Exhibition Centre Pavilion in Dubai and was received by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Dubai (Mr John Hawkins).
The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Lunch with The Ruler of Sharjah at the Ruler’s Palace.
His Royal Highness later visited Dubai Healthcare City and toured the Great Ormond Street office.

The Duke of York afterwards received the Chairman of the Dubai Development and Investment Authority.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception for Arab Health exhibitors given by Her Majesty’s Consul-General at the Residence in Dubai.

January 23: The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.
