The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Sport and Recreation Alliance, and The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, British Cycling Federation, this afternoon attended the British Cycling National Track Championships at the National Cycling Centre, Stuart Street, Manchester, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs Diane Hawkins).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Royal Exchange Theatre Company, afterwards visited the Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann’s Square, Manchester.

The Duke of Edinburgh later visited University Academy 92 and Shockout Arts, Valo Building, Talbot Road, Stretford, Greater Manchester.
