The course offers an understanding of the cultural issues facing asylum seekers, refugees and service providers in England. Topics covered include knowledge of policy and legislation, development of key skills in the field, and networking opportunities. Participants will gain an understanding of what it means to be a refugee or asylum seeker, why they left their home, and the cultural differences they may face in Britain.
