Sir, Tax credits (letters, June 27) are yet another computer fiasco. The computer revolution that was going to create jobs and increase leisure hours is fast becoming a nightmare that we have no control over.

Computers have taken over and through simple errors or mischief can be used to stop our pay, sell our medical details or wipe out our very existence.
