PEACOCK KEEPS SWINDON FLYING
Lee Peacock scored twice as Swindon Town maintained their 100 per cent start with a sixth victory away to Chester City last night, but Dennis Wise’s side were reduced to ten men after Jerel Ifil was sent off in the second half.
At the other end of the table, Macclesfield Town picked up their second point of the season by drawing 1-1 away to Grimsby Town while Hartlepool United’s 2-1 win against Boston United at Victoria Park was their first league victory of the season. Lincoln City’s impressive start continued with a 3-1 victory over Accrington Stanley at Sincil Bank.
