Sir David Clementi has been appointed as the new chairman of the BBC. Clementi, 67, a former deputy governor of the Bank of England, will chair the new unitary board running the broadcaster. A former investment banker who led Kleinwort Benson, Clementi serves as chairman of World First and deputy chairman of fund manager Ruffer. He was previously chairman of Prudential and Virgin Money.
Aidan Heavey will become chairman of oil company Tullow in April. Heavey, 63, is the founder and chief executive of the business.
Paul McDade will step up to chief executive from chief operating officer, while Jeremy Wilson, a non-executive director, has been appointed as senior independent director. McDade, 53, joined the gas specialist in 2001. Wilson, 52, was appointed in 2013 after a 26-year tenure at JP Morgan.
Earl Sibley has been appointed as interim chief executive at housebuilder Bovis. Sibley, 44, who joined the company in 2015, was previously group finance director.
Alessandra Bellini has been appointed as chief customer officer at Tesco. Bellini, 52, was previously vice-president for food in North America and food general manager for the US at consumer goods giant Unilever.

Salman Amin has been appointed as a non-executive director at ITV. Amin, 57, serves as chief operating officer of Pledge cleaner to Kiwi shoe polish owner SC Johnson. He was previously PepsiCo’s global chief marketing officer.
