Clarence Seedorf has dismissed talk of a move to Chelsea but admitted to being flattered by reports linking him with the Premier League club.
Carlo Ancelotti’s recent appointment at Stamford Bridge sparked speculation that the former AC Milan manager would instigate an exodus from the San Siro, but Seedorf, who has a contract with Milan until 2011, is not interested in moving to London.
“It’s beautiful news that Ancelotti wants me in London, but next year I will still be playing for Milan,” Seedorf said. “I have a contract with Milan and I am a player of Milan.
The Dutch midfielder played under Ancelotti at Milan for six and a half years and together they won two Champions League titles, the Club World Cup, two European Super Cups, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.
