If your bra size sits among the first four letters of the alphabet, chances are that you’re wearing a very pretty bra while reading this. If, however, your chest size falls lower, literally, then you’re probably condemned to an unsightly over-shoulder boulder-holder. Hardly a just situation, we’d say, and it seems that a new lingerie label, Miss Mandalay, agrees. Its gorgeous brassieres in cup sizes up to a breathtaking double G, with back measurements from as small as 30in, are selling fast. We have a bra-and-knicker set to give away; just answer this question: who was the pneumatic cartoon character in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

It’s a beautiful thing when two British designers come together, and this union couldn’t be spicier. At next week’s London Fashion Week, Mulberry, purveyor of Britain’s favourite handbags, is designing a small collection for the showman Giles Deacon. If past seasons are anything to go by, the evening bags in question could be a mix of studded leather and futuristic Giles-esque outlines. We can’t wait.
