Last year Brodies acted for Kersia, a French food hygiene business, in its acquisition of the UK-based Holchem from Ecolab. The tie-up created Europe’s second-largest food safety business.

It also advised Omega Diagnostics Group on its fundraising on the Alternative Investment Market after its involvement in industry partnerships to support the pandemic response. This included the UK Rapid Test Consortium, led by Oxford University.

In response to limited training and development opportunities for newly qualified lawyers across Scotland during the worst of the pandemic, the firm launched Breakfast with Brodies, a free training programme providing access to learning opportunities and industry peers.
