CONSUMER GOODS Anheuser-Busch, the American brewer behind Budweiser beer, gave warning of lower profits from its international beer business this year, because of the increasing importance of sales through retail stores.
It said that more profitable sales through bars and restaurants were becoming less significant with the switch in demand to less profitable retail outlets. The company previously had forecast flat profits from its international business. (Reuters)
