London craft brewer the Five Points Brewing Company is partnering with Dublin drinks distributor Fourcorners to launch into the Irish market next month.

The move is part of Five Points’ export strategy as, up to now, the majority of its annual 2m pint-turnover has been sold in Britain — with less than 1% going to international markets last year.

Set up in Hackney, London, in 2013, the company is planning an expansion of its brewhouse this spring as it looks to keep up with demand and to increase capacity.

Five Points founders Ed Mason and Greg Hobbs will be attending a launch of their range of ales in Dublin at the Underdog Pub on Dame Street on Thursday.
