Bray & Krais’s client Ed Sheeran successfully fought his infringement case over Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On and was found not guilty by a jury in a New York district court in May. The firm worked alongside US attorneys from Pryor Cashman who helped to secure the result for Sheeran and songwriters around the world.

The firm also advised the Rolling Stones on all contractual matters relating to the recording and release of their latest album, Hackney Diamonds.

Led by Udo Onwere, its sports team was involved in the successful renegotiation of the England Lioness Lauren James’s new contract with Chelsea, which will now last until 2027. The team also assisted James with commercial and contractual discussions with the FA before and after the Lionesses’ World Cup tournament in Australia and New Zealand in August 2023.
