A body has been recovered after a canoeist went missing in the Lake District, police said.
The man, believed to be in his late teens, was not seen resurfacing after entering the water about 200 metres from the shore on Ullswater lake on Saturday afternoon.
A search was launched involving police divers, a coastguard team, Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team and members of the public.
A body was recovered by divers in the early hours of this morning.

Cumbria police said: “The body of a young male was recovered from Lake Ullswater near to Pooley Bridge during the early hours of Sunday morning by the police underwater search and rescue team.”
It is thought that the canoeist is from Lancashire. His family have been told but police are awaiting formal identification.
