While Blair considers his achievements the only thing for which he will be remembered is, not the Iraq war, not his repeated attempts to outlaw foxhunting, not the destruction of the railways and universities but the destruction of people’s pensions and the incentives to save. These latter two being, of course, the result of Brown’s stealth tax policies.
