PRESTON Jeffrey William, CB. Dear Jeff sadly died in hospital on 5th October 2023, aged 83, after a long period of decreasing mobility and increasing ill health. Deeply mourned by the family, his godson, and his many friends and colleagues from Oxford, his neighbours in Richmond, the Public Service in which he served with such distinction, the Order of the Bath, the Hertford Society and the College, the Oxford and Cambridge Club, Henley Royal Regatta, the Drones and the Winetasters.
