Anniversaries

LEUNG : ARMSTRONG
Leah K and Clement CM Armstrong-Leung are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Leah is the daughter of Diane and Mark Armstrong of Howick, New Zealand. Clement is the son of Virginie SML and Herbert YS Leung of Kowloon, Hong Kong. They were united in marriage on 24th February 2023, at Kauri Bay Boomrock in New Zealand, and had the Chinese ceremony on 24th May 2023 in Hong Kong. Currently in Exeter, their first year has been filled with love, and they look forward to an exciting new chapter.

Deaths

BAX Alan (Lt Cdr Retd) died peacefully on 18th February 2024, aged 93, in Malestroit, France.

BERGER Eileen Mary died peacefully on 4th February 2024, aged 88. Dearly loved wife of Patrick for 65 years. Loved mother of Robin, Jonathan, Andrew, Stephen and Alison. Grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of six.

BRERETON Kathleen Mary (née Booth) of Slough, Berkshire, died peacefully at home on 12th February 2024, aged 93, after a brave struggle with dementia. Widow of John, much-loved mother of Claire, Lois, Giles, Clive, Margot and Toby, grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of two. Always in our hearts. There will be a private cremation, but donations are welcome to the Macular Society.

BROMELOW Jean (née Manchester) on 6th January 2024, aged 89, was unexpectedly taken from her active life and leaves this world a poorer place. Always there for her family and others, bringing joy and care to people and nature in equal measure. Predeceased by John, her husband, she is survived by her children: Paul, Karl and Kimberley. HUSSEY Paul died suddenly on 2nd January 2024, aged 50, in Portugal. Much-loved husband, father, son and brother. Requiem Mass, 11.30am on March 4th at the Church of the Holy Name, 42 Arbrook Lane, Esher, KT10 9EE. Family flowers only.

HUTTON Felicity Ann Christine (née Todhunter) died on 17th February 2024, aged 90. Widow of Patrick, adored mother of (the late) Mark and Ruth, granny of Julia.

JONES Dr David Orville Jones on 3rd February 2024, aged 92, husband of the late Gwenllian, father of Robert, Gareth, Richard and Owain, father-in-law of Natalia, Aurea and Cody, and grandfather of Morgan, Katherine, Sasha, Lucas, Gracie, Cari and Annie. Funeral Thursday 29th February, service at Langstone Vale Crematorium at 1pm. Family flowers only please. LLOYD-JENNINGS Ashley passed away peacefully on 19th February 2024, surrounded by his family. RAMAGE Andrew Ogilvie died on 12th February 2024, aged 74. Much loved by wife Viv, sons Nick, Alasdair and Jamie, and seven grandchildren. Funeral at noon on 1st March 2024, St Paul’s Church, East Molesey, Surrey.

REPARD The Hon Peggy (née Bowyer) on 17th February 2024, aged 98, died peacefully in her sleep. Loving wife of David (died 2011). Very much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Thanksgiving service, for a life well-lived, at St Mary’s, West Horsley, on Friday 22nd March at 2.30pm. No flowers please. RICHARDS Suzanne Jane (née Harper) passed away peacefully on 18th February 2024, aged 77. Beloved mother of David, Mark and Tory, adored grandmother of Hattie, Izzy, Pippa, Polly, Alexandra and Sebastian. Her funeral will be held on Saturday 9th March at St Bartholomew’s Church, Harpley, Worcestershire at noon.

WALSH Clive Charles died peacefully on 12th February 2024, aged 82. Beloved husband of Margaret, father of James, Emma and Charles. Proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Greatly missed.

WILLIAMS Kevin died peacefully on 12th February 2024, aged 72. Beloved husband to Jane, son to Jean and father of Holly. Private family funeral. Thanksgiving service at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, IP33 1LS, on Monday 15th April at 2.30pm.
