Christine Mary (née Wilkins) died peacefully on 18th July 2021. Born in 1931 and having recently celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by friends and family Christine was the loving wife of Keith Oliver Sims who passed away in 2016.
Married in 1955, Keith and Christine had three children, Joanne, Christopher and Diana, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren (with two more due later this year which Christine was absolutely delighted about).
A longstanding member of the local Dr Barnardo’s committee until only a couple of years ago Christine lived in Purley all her life and was very fortunate to have many wonderful friends with whom she enjoyed meeting and often playing bridge.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday 25th August 2021 at St Marks Church, Purley, Surrey.
