George Bush Sr was a one-term US President from 1989-93 and father of George W. Bush. He recently told Fox News that he still hopes that his son Jed will run for the Senate and the presidency. He’s spending his birthday with family and friends at his home in Kennebunkport, Maine. His wife, Barbara, celebrated her 84th birthday last week. His Presidential Library and Museum was opened on a 90-acre site at Texas University in 1997. George Bush Sr is 85 today. RGT
