The film actor Johnny Depp is one of the busiest with six films in production and another dozen in development. His first success was in Edward Scissorhands (1990), but he became a box office star as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. He lives for much of the year in France with his partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children.
