The actor James Nesbitt found fame in the ITV rom-com drama series Cold Feet, which ran for five years until 2003 and won him many awards. Since then he has rarely been off our television screens in dramas such as Murphy’s Law, Bloody Sunday and Occupation, as well as plugging telephone directories in commercials. He is filming in Glasgow for a thriller with Minnie Driver, set in a submarine in the Arctic. James Nesbitt is 45 today. RGT
