Sir, Surely your claim that Pickfords is Britain’s oldest removals company (Business, Feb 13) should have read England’s oldest. You state that the first reference to Pickfords was in 1695. Shore Porters, on the other hand, can date its own business in Aberdeen some 200 years earlier, back to 1498.
