Be proud of strip protest

One can almost picture Fay waving a flaming torch, setting alight the pyre shouting “Burn the witch”. None of his remarks prevented you presenting Janine large and in full colour.

Of course we’d feel safer with a girl lying with her skirt hitched up across the bonnet of a car in an advertising promo. If Janine was pushing her latest chick lit novel or an album, she’d be on The Late Late Show. I think we should be proud of her. She is a true role model for young Irish women, believing in something and willing to go to considerable lengths for what she believes in.

I have no doubt that, in her time, Maud Gonne would have suffered under Fay’s pen and he would have had a field day with the suffragettes. As for Mary Robinson? Back in the kitchen, woman.
