Demonstrating its reputation in serious fraud cases, over the past year Bark & Co has represented 55 clients at Southwark crown court or awaiting trial and acted in a succession of large-scale investigations and prosecutions instigated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

In general crime, it was successful in securing acquittals in seven murder cases, including for a client charged with murdering a man in a flat in South London, after a ten-week trial at the Central Criminal Court, London.

It represented a 16-year-old victim of trafficking charged with murder and manslaughter. At the end of two days of legal arguments, the prosecution dropped the case.

The firm also acted in a high-value theft case concerning an alleged conspiracy involving the acquisition of stolen car parts for international exportation.
