Today in my series on mental acuity and chess, in response to the article by John Naish, “Midlife dementia: are you losing your mind or just your keys?”, (The Times Saturday, August 15), I give a game won by the then world champion Alexander Alekhine, playing without sight of the board against 15 opponents simultaneously.
