Ashley Cole has signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea.
The 28-year-old left back becomes the second Chelsea player to commit his future to the club in a matter of days after captain John Terry signed a five-year deal on Monday.
Cole has played 135 times for Chelsea since he joined from Arsenal in 2006. He scored just his third league goal for the club in the 3-0 win over Burnley that put Chelsea top of the Premier League on goal difference on Saturday.
Cole is currently preparing with the England squad for the matches against Slovenia and Croatia.
