A bondage dominatrix and her assistant have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after the death of a British man at their Belgian fetish dungeon.
Police at first thought that the 58-year-old died of natural causes but tests showed that he may have inhaled nitrous oxide — laughing gas — possibly to anaesthetise the pain of a session with the self-styled “perverted sadist” known as Mistress Lucrezia.
The Foreign Office confirmed that the family of the businessman, who has not been named, has been informed.
Mistress Lucrezia, 46, has a website offering “bondage, humiliation, torture, education and cross-dressing” with her 38-year-old assistant Miss Juno. The man died on Tuesday while taking a shower at the pair’s villa in Brecht near Antwerp.
