If your kids haven’t imbibed the environmental message from various penguin movies, this National Geographic film aims to melt their hearts and convert young minds.
Shot over eight years, this live action documentary follows the story of a polar bear cub (Nanu) and a walrus pup (Seela). Whatever sleight of hand may be operating in the storytelling department (they’re composites), the footage itself is stunning, and as in March of the Penguins the animals’ ability to survive the harsh polar environment should sustain most people’s interest for an hour and a half.
