A service of thanksgiving for the life of Eve-Ann Prentice was held yesterday at St Bride’s Church, EC4.

Canon David Meara, rector, officiated and led the bidding prayers.

The Hon Keir Page, brother, read the lesson.

Mr Aidan Morrin, widower, and Professor Peter Cole, Professor of Journalism, Sheffield University, gave addresses.

Mr Stephen Chambers, read an excerpt from One Woman’s War by Eve-Ann Prentice.

Mr Robbie Firth read High Flight by John Gillespie Magee.

Among others present were: Lady Whaddon (stepmother), Mrs Keir Page, (sister-in-law), Mr Patrick Prentice, Miss Eleanor Prentice with other members of the family.
