This divorce and family law practice based in London acted in the High Court for a husband, Walid Abu-Zalaf, successfully resisting the application by his Russian wife, Olga Cazalet (also known as Angela Jilana) to rescind a nine-year-old decree nisi, the step before the full legal end of a marriage, on the basis of an alleged reconciliation. The wife also sought to set aside a previous financial order and benefit from better terms under a prenuptial agreement. The wife appealed the High Court’s ruling to the Court of Appeal and the judgment has yet to be given.

In other cases, the firm represented a father who was exonerated of claims of sexual abuse made by the mother, and settled a prenuptial agreement for an independently wealthy female client who was marrying into one of the richest families in a European country.
