With Patrice Evra you don't just get the best attacking left back on the planet, you get a wise-cracking, team-building funnyman thrown in.
Direct your web browser to YouTube and type his name in alongside Cristiano Ronaldo or Park Ji-sung and you'll get the drift.
"Cristiano Dior" as he's teasingly relabelled, sits alongside Evra in a French TV interview, modestly explaining how his European Player of the Year award was down to the work of his team-mates. "So how come you never let me keep the Balon d'Or in my house," interjects Evra.
Asked about the clip, Evra collapses into laughter. "Cristiano Dior! I miss him, because Cristiano was a great friend. Ronny, you know, people didn't know him really. They think he's just Ronaldo, the guy on the pitch, likes to look for himself. But that's not true, inside he's very good. I spoke with Lassana Diarra and [Karim] Benzema at Real. They said 'Pat, you are totally true. Ronny is a funny guy, he loves to enjoy the life'. Yeah, I miss Cristiano Dior!"
Another video (click here): Evra takes up the mic to interview Park on the club's in-house television channel. "Ji, why you don't like the English girl?," he asks as his best mate turns the colour of a United shirt.

"I call him the Korean Playboy," chuckles Evra. "The Brad Pitt of Korea. You know what he tell me about this story? He says after the game when he signs autographs the English girls say 'Ji, why do you say you don't like the English women? We love you!' He tells me now sometimes he seems some girl in Korea. But, no, I still haven't one English woman for him."
