Sir, The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II car used by Kate Moss at her wedding (report, July 2) was manufactured in 1978-89. It might justly be described as a “classic” only. A “vintage” car, to deserve the term, had to be built between 1919 and before the end of December 1930.
