Hunter Valley semillon is the classic New South Wales wine style, with a smoky, lime-licked elegance all its own. Admittedly, you have to buy two bottles of this glorious, ripe, toasty, zesty semillon to sneak it under the sub-£5 barrier, but once tasted it is not forgotten.
