The chunky Vino de la Tierra de Castilla and its partner, the Castilla y Leon white, make the perfect summer buffet duo. This half is the ideal, cheap, new-wave Spanish red, a tempranillo-based blend enlivened with one-fifth merlot. The result is a terrific, zesty, damson plum-stacked red that cries out for a plate of garlicky charcuterie.
