In addition to the 65 additional services scheduled, new stops have been put in place across a number of routes.

New hourly services have been added to and from Greystones on Route 702.

Aircoach's well-known airport coaches will now run every 15 minutes between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre.

New stops on the route include Cherrywood Business Park - which will be serviced every half hour, while pick-up at Pearse Station to Dublin Airport will run every half hour.

Other new stops expanding the network include Merrion Square for Route 701 - which will come every 30-minutes, Loughlinstown Hospital, hourly on Route 702 and Greystones and Hawkinswood on route 702 - which will be an hourly service.

Taoiseach Simon Harris said the new opening of the new service is a "significant impact and boost" for holidaymakers and commuters alike.

The Fine Gael TD added that it will have a "hugely positive impact" on locations where the new services have opened, including his home town of Greystones, Co Wicklow.

The Taoiseach said: "Today marks a significant milestone and boost for holidaymakers and other regular Aircoach service users looking to and from Dublin Airport.

"The expansion of the coach service will have a hugely positive impact on the community, especially in my home town of Greystones with a new hourly service on Hawkins Wood, one of four stops within Greystones."

He added: "As Taoiseach I want to see further expansions like these, ensuring that everyone has access to sustainable, safe and reliable means of transport to and from their home community."

Aircoach's managing director, Kim Swan, said the services were launched after listening to customer feedback.
