Horror as baby dies after cops rush to London home over ‘concern for welfare’ – with urgent probe launched

A BABY has been found dead in London - sparking an urgent police investigation.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called to Taviton Street in Camden this afternoon to reports of "a concern for welfare" before the grim discovery was made.

They said: "Police were called to Taviton Street, WC1, to reports of a concern for welfare.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. A baby was sadly found dead.

"Enquiries continue into the circumstances."

Officers were alerted at 3.53pm, added the spokesperson.

The Sun has contacted London Ambulance Service for comment.
