The video initially looks as if the person behind the camera is filming a local river but it's made obvious that it's in fact a flooded road.

Another follower replied to Alan O'Reilly's comments regarding Salou, sharing how the conditions have impacted their holiday.

They said: "This morning and yesterday but warm now definitely brought the weather with us over here."

Sharing two clips, they showed extreme grey skies from their hotel room, which quickly turned to flashes of lightning and sounds of thunder.

The second clip showed a similar sight to Alan's video as streets were flooded, forcing cars to be blocked in.

An urgent warning has been issued for any holidaymakers jetting off to Spain in the coming days for weeks due to the extreme weather.
