GARDENING fans have branded a weed pulling tool that promises to remove invasive plants easily as "the best in the world".

The Stand-Up weed puller, which is available in Harvey Norman from just €55.99, is designed to remove the unwanted plants without the hassle of kneeling down or bending.

Describing the Fiskars product online, Harvey Norman bosses claimed that the product is "designed to tackle Ireland's fast=growing weeds".

The nifty gadget will permanently remove dandelions, thistles and other invasive weeds without multiple applications of harsh and costly herbicides.

And the product's long shaft eliminates knee soreness and backaches caused by bending whilst the handle design "reduces wrist strain and enhances grip."

The product boasts four serrated, aluminum claws that firmly grab weeds and roots for "permanent removal".

Gardeners can also benefit from a "viewing window" in the foot pedal, which allows for mistake-free claw placement and complete removal.

The product is also environmentally friendly.
