Francis NGannou is widely regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters in history. He became the heavyweight champion in 2021 and defended his title once in 2022. NGannou boasts an MMA record of 17 wins in 20 fights, including 12 knockouts. He vacated his UFC heavyweight title when he became a free agent in 2023 after failing to agree new terms with boss Dana White. Ngannou fought Tyson Fury and narrowly lost after a split decision in October 2023 and he faces Fury’s fellow Brit Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia on Friday, March 8.
