Rita Ora gives update on fourth album as she kicks off mini tour
RITA Ora is knee deep in recording her fourth album - but fans will have a little longer before hearing what she’s been working on in the studio.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun's Bizarre column in her dressing room backstage at a Mighty Hoopla Festival in London, Rita said: “The album is going really well.
“I’m taking it just one song at a time to be honest.
“I’m not sure it will be ready for this year though. But the great thing about my label {BMG] is that I have the time and they are really chill like that.”
Rita, whose new single Ask & You Shall Receive is out now, was with her husband, Hollywood film director Taika Waititi at the festival - who we spotted filming Rita’s set on his iPhone.
She used their relationship and their wedding back in 2022 to inspire her third album, You & I, but now Rita said she wants to go back to her fun-loving, carefree style.
“I’m a bit bored of that [my marriage] now [as inspiration],” Rita said.
“I want my music to move on, have fun and do what makes me feel good.
“If it doesn’t make me feel good, I’m not doing it, and I’ve found that very liberating.”
